The Revelation of God’s Delight
This final session of Post Script 1 moves beyond effort and measurement into revelation — the discovery that God does not merely save us, but delights in us.
Scripture Focus
Zephaniah 3:17
"The Lord your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."

A. From striving to receiving
Striving keeps us active but rarely at rest. Receiving, however, requires trust. Many believers are comfortable working for God but uncomfortable being loved by Him.
The Christian life does not begin with what we give to God, but with what we receive from Him. When we stop striving to earn His pleasure, we become open to receive what He has freely given.
B. The heart over the habit
Habits have their place, but they were never meant to replace the heart. God is not impressed by routine when it is disconnected from relationship.
When the heart is engaged, habits become life-giving rather than burdensome. Delight restores meaning to discipline and transforms duty into desire.

C. Freedom to abide
Abiding is not passive; it is relational. It is the freedom to remain, to dwell, and to live from connection rather than compulsion.
When we know God delights in us, we are free to abide without fear. Growth flows naturally from relationship, not from pressure.
A Song to Sit With This Week
This Post Script is accompanied by a song that reflects the joy and rest of being delighted in by God.
As you listen this week, allow the song to remind you that abiding flows from love received, not effort expended.
